How long before the wedding should I book a photographer?
To avoid disappointment, you should book a wedding photographer approximately 9 months before your wedding date. I am the primary photographer at Images By Frost, this means I can only book one wedding per weekend.
Are you a digital shooter?
You bet! I only use digital professional Canon cameras and Canon L-Series lenses.
How many photographs can we expect in total? Do I see all the images you shot on my wedding day?
On average, for an all day wedding I shoot approximately 1400 images. I delete the closed eyes, weird faces and choose 800 best of the best images that tells your wedding day story
How much time do we need to budget for our formal photographs?
To have a stress free wedding session I recommend anywhere from 1.5 to 2 hours.
How long before we can see our photos you shot on our wedding day?
Your re-touched online proofs will be ready within 1 to 2 weeks after your wedding day.
Are there location restrictions with your wedding packages?
No! The only restriction is time. As long as time permits we can fit as many locations as you would like.
Do I need to book an indoor location? What are your suggestions?
I recommend that you book an indoor location. You can’t predict the weather and its important to book an indoor location in case it rains. If you would like, I would be happy to send you information with various indoor locations, simply email me and just ask.
I have a tendency to break out when I’m nervous, will the camera pick up my imperfections?
The professional cameras and lenses will pick up few skin imperfections you may have. Not to worry though, all of our packages include complimentary touchups. All wedding albums and ordered images are retouched and printed at a professional lab to ensure the highest quality. Click here to view our before and after photo's.
Do you offer retouching?
Of course! As of 2009, all wedding packages include retouching on ALL images.
This includes:
Color correction, contrast enhancement, vignetting, and a collection of black/white, color, sepia, mocha, cream tone, pastel & vintage images – all at the photographer's discretion.
I like black and white photographs. Do you offer this service?
Of course we do. Images by Frost shoots digital photos. This gives you, the client, a lot of endless possibilities and options. In fact you receive a collection of colour, black and white, sepia, pastel, mocha and many more variations to choose from.
Do you travel outside Canada for destination weddings?
Do I ever! I love to travel. My destination package offers all you could ever dream up. Recently I have been to St. Lucia and even Europe!
What type of photographs can we expect? What's your shooting style?
I shoot your wedding via a free-style approach. This means you receive a collection of posed but relaxed photo's. The style ranges from glamour, romantic, candid, photojournalistic and just plain fun.
How do I book? Is there a contract or deposit?
There is a $350 non-refundable deposit to hold your day. This deposit is paid in full upon contract signing.
How many prints are included in your packages?
I offer credits ranging from $200 to $500. This means you get what YOU want out of your package. You can utilize this credit towards prints, an album or even canvas prints!
