Engagement Photography in Edmonton Alberta - Downtown Location with Susie & Thomas

Susie and Thomas as getting married in June. Yes, its almost time! Susies dress is ready to go and the bridesmaid dresses are getting their final touches complete as we speak. They are both excited and cannot believe how soon they'll be saying their, "I do's" !!

We reschedualed our session a few times. Once due to weather & once due to my out of town WPPI Photography Convention in Vegas. We finally had a chance to meet last Saturday and I am glad we waitted. The weather was just perfect! Very spring like. I had a glimmer of hope winter was over. I did say, "glimmer" :)

We shot our engagement session in the downtown core. I live in downtown and passed this area a few times. When I suggested it to Susie, she was all in and the rest is history. The area has two swings. One is a tire swing, and the other a regular swing rope tied to the sturdy brances of an old tree. The houses are older, ok they are super old, but I fell in love with the chipping paint. I thinks it adds character to the photographs. Reguardless of where the couple agrees to or decides to shoot thier engagement session, in the end its about capturing their love. Let me tell you, Susie and Thomas are IN-LOVE! The way these two love birds look at each other is heart melting.I am looking forward to their wedding day!

Susie and Tom were kissing for quite a while. I wanted that purple car in the shot. Jus as it passed, a gust of wind caught Susie hair...everything just worked :)
