Despite the rumour mill, a "Trash the Dress Photography Session" does not neccessarily mean 'trashing the wedding gown'. It may mean different things to different people, so it's best to discuss the details of the shoot with your photographer in advance. Simply google this and you will find an array of sessions ranging from A to Z. To me however, it simply means doing things you normally would not do in your gown on your wedding day.
In Magda's case, it meant climbing a 45 degree hill in Penticton, British Columbia :) The Okanagan Valley is truly beautiful. My vision was to shoot on a windy day with black clouds on top of a hill overlooking the valley. Not too much to ask for ;) Needless to say, the day of the shoot was perfect. I got exactly what I wanted and more! As we drove into the Penticton vineyards, we found the perfect hill in the distance and our location was set. On our climb up, we met a local photographer and his nephew. Within no time, we were cracking jokes and sharing stories. They were nice enough to stick around and hold the lights during our shoot. Thanks again guys!
In the early afternoon Magda's hubby, Mike joined us. We had found an old rustic truck days in advance and shot the couple session there. I was really ecstatic and had an amazing time shooting these two love birds. Thanks so much for helping me execute my vision.

Magda and I noticed this hill and knew the view would be spectacular up there.

It took a while to position Magda on this rock, but it was worth the effort!

The clouds started rolling in and it got pretty cool. I asked Magda to wrap herself in the red tule to warm up.

This girl is too pretty.

Behind the scenes: Special THANK YOU to my friends :)
