Susie and Tom are both accountants and met at STANTEC. They soon fell in love, got engaged and married on June 12, 2010. They chose the church of Our Lady of Fatima to exchange their vows. There is an abundance of natural light in this church, so I really enjoyed shooting in it. I had the guys meet me before the ceremony to get some pre-wedding shots. That was loads of fun.
Susie walked down the aisle with both her parents as Tom waited anxiously. They said their, "I Do's" with BIG smiles and sealed it all with a kiss. Everyone wanted a photo with these two, so we did a group shot with EVERYONE so as not to fall behind the schedule we meticulously planned a month before the big day.
After the Portuguese Log Ceremony we were off to our first downtown location to shoot our wedding images. We had lots of extra time so we made a stop at the U of A before driving to the reception at the Four Points Hotel. After the cake cutting and first dance, we snuck the newlyweds out of the room for some intimate shots around the hotel. The 20 minute session was well worth it!
The next day, they were off to Italy for their honeymoon - when I heard, I was super JELOUS!
Susie and Tom had picked up their images in July. At the bottom of the page, you can view their video testimonial. Thank you again for commissioning me to take your wedding photos, I had a great time.
A special thank you to Jeff Gibbons who volunteered to second shoot for me. This was our first wedding we shot together and I am sure it was not the last. Jeff shot some amazing images I would not be able to take. He did a fantastic job. All your help was greatly appreciated!
xoxo
